BOW CYCLE GETS EGIMICATED!

SBCU is now in session! Our thanks to Andrew, Ben, Serge, and Barry form Specialized for running a one day SBCU. It was also a great chance to find out about some of their new innovations. The TriTip saddle with rail hook on the back of the seat, the Roval hidden floating nipple, and the light as a banana - 2D helmet!

COZY CLOTHES DRIVE!

2nd Annual Cozy Clothes Drive-Share the Warmth!

It's getting cold outside, but it's even colder if you don't have appropriate winter clothing. The Outdoor Centre is donating warm outdoor clothes and bedding to the Mustard Seed this winter season. If you have any warm clothes or accessories you would like to donate, please drop them off at the Outdoor Centre between now and Christmas.

What: Cozy Clothes Drive-Share the Warmth!
When: Starting Now!
Where: Drop-off your CLEAN, warm outdoor clothing donations to the Outdoor Centre, Kinesiology B 180 (open daily 8am-8pm)
Why: The Mustard Seed requires warm outdoor clothing for the winter season. Warm jackets, gloves, mitts, snow and hiking boots, toques, blankets, and sleeping bags are among some the items the Mustard Seed requires.

BOW CYCLE EXPO CYCLE RECAP

Well , I hope you didn't miss it. Because you will not be able to see some of those bikes for a little while. Most will be available shortly. For many, this was a great opportunity to pick the brain's of some industry insiders.

A few choice bike specimens showed up as well. Stuart O'Grady's Cervelo R3 that he won the 2007 Paris-Roubaix on. Or if you are of the more off road set, maybe Steve Peat's Santa Cruz V10 was more your style. Kona brought out their new CoilAir Supreme with the Magic Link along with the new look Stinky's. Specialized showed off the new lineup with lots of people staring at the NY Langster. One hot bike! Norco brought solid line of free ride bikes like the Shores and Sixes.

Congratulations to Jordan K., who won the Tacx I-Fortius trainer. And thank to all who participated.

Once again, we would like to thank our suppliers for helping us have a great day showing off all the new bikes for 2008. As good as this event was, we can safely say wait until next year!
