Hey all you riders out there. If you're looking for some dry trails head no further than Canmore! Scott the Wad, Rosmo (aka Michael Bolton), Kootney Kenny and myself hit the old standard of the Benchlands, Upper Nordic Center and the Reclaimer trail for some fun. Trails were dry and dusty and with a nice sunny day we had a blast. Some trails on the Bench are closed due to bears but we did an awesome loop that had us all stoked. The Reclaimer trail is rad and in wicked shape due to some local dude who maintained it through the whole winter....berms and fun singletrack all the way down. We proceeded to hit the local cafe for a nice espresso / bagel / cookies / water / sandwich / chili / juice / trash talking / sun / baking / peoplewatching / why hartail XC bikes rule session.....what a nice way to end the ride! Thanks to my '07 TransRockies partner and Canmore local Hazen Simson for playing tour guide for us! Oh yeah, and our man Michael can sure ride...come in and ask Jason why he's growing his loaf out to look like his favorite singer!
