Marty Korba and myself joined the Ride Guide crew at Nipika Mountain Resort to shoot a segment of the show this past weekend. Both of us are calling each other “Hollywood” among other things after a super sweet time riding and chilling out at this amazing resort tucked away in the mountains near Invermere BC. Nipika has played host to the TransRockies the last two years and has an amazing network of trails that we had the pleasure of exploring….looking for that perfect shot for the show. I remember a trail or two from this years TR but was amazed to find so many awesome new sections and loops that we had just blown by in the race. A person could come here and link together so much singletrack in a days riding without going too far away from the comforts of wicked log cabins that are on site to house the fortunate few who make the trip to this piece of paradise.

One of the many great things about this place is that everyone could come and ride here and do a super long epic ride or pull the plug and head back to the cabin, jump into the freezing cold pond and just chill out taking in the amazing view over a java or nice bottle of vino. Marty and I did both, man he’s a fast swimmer! Lyle Wilson the owner and manager of the resort has created a super chilled out, eco-friendly resort that has world class trails to challenge everyone. Not to mention some of the best weather in BC as well. Marty and I both came away super relaxed and refreshed after our time here and we both are already planning on coming back with our wives and some friends to show them around this October. Thanks to Lyle and also Mike Benedek from the Ride Guide for making Marty and I famous…….now the Hollywood movie parts will just start rolling in……Marty is going comedy but I want a serious drama role……hahahhahaha!
