Fernie Freeride Fiesta of Fun - Volume 1
I accompanied our accomplished freeride goon Rosmo (Jason Rosmanitz) on a day trip out to Fernie to hit up the ski hill for a day of riding. Hot, dry and dusty conditions welcomed us to the ever expanding trail system and FAR. More jumps, woodwork and stunts have been added since last year to test the freeride crowd.
Jason was in fine form railing a nice berm on the Top Gun Trail then hitting a nice double before some type of weed monster came out of the bush to try and suck him into it's clutches! They struggled with each other, with Rosmo getting the better of that, that… thing!
We continued on our journey hitting the classic Kodiak Karnage trail then rocked over to the Eville trail - lot's of fun. I was lucky enough to borrow a sweet SX Trail from our boy John King in the parts dept. here at Bow, as well as some body armour from Rabbit and Lisa. Thanks for making my freeride dreams come true, guys - it's like the Wish Foundation or something for an XC warrior like myself.
Anyhow, get out to Fernie and have a wicked time. Remember that the Timber Bowl Quad is only running on the weekends for those of you that like the high speed runs from the top!
