Let the snow fly! And let’s get more women into the sport of snowmobiling. Whether you want to do trail rides on family days or play in the hills with the boys, come into Bowcycle, we have a sled waiting for you! Bombardier has an incredible new platform that is lighter then all others on the market and has easy central pivot point riding, making it easy to learn to ride.
For the ladies we have the 550 freestyles, great for kids too. Really easy to learn on! Also the new Rev XP 600 Adrenaline offers a longer track for the women who would like to go places in the mountains. If you like power the Rev XP 800 would be a wise choice to show the guys that anything boys can do – we can do better!!

A look into snowmobiling from a woman in the industry who rides, I have some pointers on some good areas to ride not to far from Calgary and some events that take place that are a good time. I grew up in the Kootenay’s and encourage any one to take a weekend trip out there and enjoy some mountains that are not as busy as others only about 6 hours away. Revelstoke and Golden also offer some awesome riding guaranteed every trip out. The Revelstoke snowmobile society is celebrating their 40th anniversary this year with a ride planned for March.15th/08, I believe a women’s ride will be organized on that day also BBQ and guided tours. All our riding areas are being taken away show your support by attending! Keep updated by checking out their website www.sledrevelstoke.com. Also in Feb they have Sno-orama. In previous years a WOW women’s breast cancer ride has been organized, this year however nothing was set in stone so watch the WOW website for next years ride in Revelstoke.
Remember this is not just a man’s sport so more women get out to the mountains. I hope to see you out there soon or help you out in the shop!
