OAKLEY CROWBAR MX GOGGLES

NOW IN STOCK!

Niels started off by installing the Ski-do Sway Bar Quick Disconnect Link Kit which allows you to utilize the benefits of a sway bar on rough trails, and quickly disconnect it for side hilling the mountains.  It makes a HUGE difference when side hilling.
Here is a picture with the kit off of the machine.  The Sway Bar Quick Disconnect Link Kit retails for $119.99 and we have them in stock.
Under the hood Niels has removed all extra plastic and any dividers that came stock on the new REV XP.  This generates increased air flow and also lightens up the machine a little.  If you do this make sure you zip tie the hoses out of the way and use heat shield to prevent your hoses from melting.
Of course you have to add a pipe.  This year we used THE THING (pictured).  It is available in ceramic coated or black and adds a nice throaty sound to the machine while also lightening things up.  While the jury is still out on whether there is any power increase it is worth installing for the weight reduction.
Once you remove all of the dividers from your sled you won't have any place to put your tool kit because one of the plastic pieces has a pocket for your tool kit.  If you do not have electric start that area makes a nice spot to put your tool kit.  Just use the old mounting hardware from the piece that you removed.  Obviously if you have electric start you will have to find another location.
Here is a picture of the clutch side with all of the plastic removed.  Niels has not found it necessary to modify the clutch cover in any way.
Here is the clutch side panel.  You will notice a nice little vent that Niels has made to increase airflow on the clutch side.  The best part about this modification is it is very stealth and the sled still looks stock.  It is however very functional.
Quick-clickers are a must.  They allow for "on the fly" clutch adjustments and will allow you to set your clutches up easily for varying conditions.
Despite all of the rumors out there, this is the proper way to install your jerry can.  I will repeat, this is the proper way to install your jerry can.
Lastly, a spare belt is a must.  Please make sure that you check your spare belt before every ride to make sure that it does not melt on the pipe.  Ski-doo will not warranty your belt if it is melted.  Note that we have 3 demos all with at least 500kms and have yet to replace a belt.  If you are having problems and have tried the upgraded belt please give the service department a call and let us set-up your clutching for you.  There is no reason that these sleds should not be flawless.  Thanks and enjoy the ride!
