SKI-DOO: 377 BELT CLARIFICATIONHey guys just to clarify where we are at on the 377 belt situation: This just came after meetings yesterday. 1. Dealer PDI's Summit 800 and wants to put a 377 belt on instead of a 166. Dealer returns new unused 166 with an 03 PDI warranty claim for credit. We pay for 377. Warranty guys save new unused belts without sleeve for return at end of year to Valcourt/ Sherbrooke. 2. Customer walks in with 2 or 3 new 166 belts and wants 377's. Dealer takes new sleeved 166 belts from customer and gives him 377's and cust pays the difference. Just like buying a standard tire vs a premium tire. Dealer either keeps the 166's or returns on a parts return for credit. 3. Customer has some miles on his Summit 800 but has heard of 377 belt and does not want to be changing belts on mountain if it fails. He goes to dealer and returns the 166 for exchange of a 377. Dealer claims 377 belt and returns 166 even if cords have not popped out yet. Warranty pays for 377. 4. Cust is riding and cord pops out of 166, he brings belt or sled to dealer and dealer gives him a 377. claims 377 and returns 166. We pay dealer for 377.
