SKI-DOO: MODE AND SET BUTTONSWe have had reports on gauge information fluctuations and random resetting of trip information or other functions. This is most likely caused by a small sensor magnet falling out of the mode or set buttons. We now have updated versions that have the magnets encapsulated in the rubber. Magnets may be removed and the handlebar switch used on premium gauge models as a temporary repair. |

SKI-DOO: TRACKS RUBBINGThe new XP chasis with 16 inch tracks have very little clearance in the tunnel. If the track is not properly aligned it is possible that the track edges contact the suspension brackets mounting rivets and lightly fray the fabric cords on the edge of the track. SKI-DOO: SUMMIT TECH TIP DPM VENT LINEIf you get a Summit at altitude that is way rich or doesn't pull good RPM check the DPM vent line to see if it is kinked where it enters the air box. It is under the gauges and on top of the air box. The hose kinks occasionally. |

SKI-DOO: HEAT GRIPS AND THUMB WARMERFor 2008 there have been a couple of changes to the way the heat grips and thumb warmer operate. To remove the electrical loads from the sled the heated thumb and grips are shut off when the RPM is below 1900. Also, the grips are a Pulse Width Modulated system and will require a new testing procedure which will be available soon. |

SKI-DOO: SKI-DOO RPM FLUCTUATION (PULLEYS) REVISION 1.In some riding conditions a few vehicles may experience RPM top end fluctuation and poor back shifting. Our investigation has shown that: A. A small quantity of driven pulley cams may have been produced with an outer diameter larger than the specification. This condition could lead to a sliding sheave altered movement; leading to increased heat in both pulleys. B. A small quantity of drive pulley sliders may be out of specification causing binding.
