2010 SEA-DOO WAKE 210 BLOG

This weekend I was able get out of the city and take our 2010 Challenger Wake 210 to the Shuswap. Our group scored beautiful weather, and the lake was warm enough wet suits were not required. We spent the weekend wake surfing behind the boat and hanging out on Silver Beach at the northern end of Seymour Arm. Our new boat worked flawlessly, and got excellent gas mileage for a boat of its size. With its 310 hp package the Challenger tops out above 45mph, we could get to our destinations quick and have some fun on the way, as it turns and spins on a dime, but is very steady and solid in 2 to 3 foot lake chop.
I have experimented with ballast placement and can now generate a solid surfable wake, a feat that is unobtainable with an inboard/out boat if its size and price range. The boat uses twin jet drives and I’m able to pull the boat up on a beach and use the boat in shallow lakes and rivers, something an inboard boat will not allow. Our group spent the entire weekend in the boat as wake surfing is safe and low impact sport, it allows the whole group to participate. The roomy 10 passenger interior of the 210 Challenger allows plenty of elbow and leg room, also the 8 speaker sound system keeps the party going all day long.
All passengers loved the unique Transat seats in the stern that transform a sun pad into 2 fold out lounge chairs. Another favorite of the girls was the heater in the boat; it kept them warm at night or after getting out of the lake.
Our boat is available upon appointment for a private lake test to feel the versatility of the Sea Doo challenger line.
