Store Policies


Free In-Store Pick up

We will email you when we have confirmed your purchase.  We will also email you when your order is ready for pick up. Confirmation email does not mean the order is ready.

  • Please allow 24-72 hours for order processing
  • Please have your order confirmation with you, either digital or paper copy
  • You will need to show id for your pick up
  • If you would like someone else to pick up your order please call or email so that we can put the appropriate remarks on your order

Pick up is available during store hours 7 days a week (6 days in the winter)

Please try to pick up your order within 7 days or call our Online Customer Service Team to make alternate arrangements.  Orders not picked up within 30 days will be returned to our inventory and your payment will be converted to in-store credit.

We offer a curbside pick-up area in the parking stalls under the overhang in the alley. We also have a walk up door under the blue Electra awning. Please follow the directions on the sign, we will need your full name and which stall you are located. The system we use is text-based only and does not read the subject line on iPhones.  Please have your ID ready and if possible your trunk open for us to put your order into your car.  If the signs are not out, please call (403) 288-5422 ext 135 and we can bring you your items.

Please note that these stalls are for fully paid online orders or work order pick up with 0$ balance owing. 


Shipping Within Canada

All orders are shipped either Canada Post or Canpar or Kiwi.me (local).  Applicable provincial and federal taxes are applied when your order is processed according to where the item will be shipped. All orders being shipped are sent from Bow Cycle in Calgary, AB and take one to two business days to process, in addition to the delivery times shown. Isolated and rural areas may take longer.

**SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

Shipping restrictions may apply to certain products and destinations. These restrictions include regional distribution agreements, hazardous or over-sized products, and complexity in exporting some items. Bicycles are not included in Free Shipping.


BACKORDERS

If an item you want to purchase is temporarily out of stock, you may still be able to backorder it. This allows you to reserve the next available stock, so when we receive it, we ship it to you. Backordered item(s) usually ship within four to five weeks – we’ll send you an email when your order is on its way.

If an item you want to purchase hasn’t yet arrived in stores you can pre-order it. Items available for pre-order should ship within four to five weeks but this time frame can vary widely based on the item and vendor.


Returns and Refunds

Parts, Accessories, and Clothing – We offer a 30 day return policy. If you're not happy with your purchase, you can return it for a refund. To be eligible for a full refund, your item must be returned unused and in the same condition that you received it in, along with the original packaging and the receipt. Once we receive the product back and have inspected it we will provide a refund. Items returned without the original packaging are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

CYCLING SHORTS AND TOOLS are FINAL SALE. 

Bicycles can be returned within 30 days if in new and unused condition. When you pick up your bike we will review it with you and make sure it meets your expectations.

Bikes that have been accessorized are subject to a 20% restocking fee on each accessory that is being returned.

Please try to pick up your special order within 7 days or call our Online Customer Service Team to make alternate arrangements.  Orders not picked up within 30 days will be returned to our inventory and your payment will be converted to an in-store credit.


Order Fullfillment

We will contact you if any purchase item from your order is found to be unavailable due to an inventory discrepancy. When you submit an order through our Online store, your credit card is pre-authorized for the total order cost (including applicable taxes and shipping). Prior to shipping your order, Bow Cycle will only charge the amount that reflects the total cost of the shipped product(s) and applicable taxes and shipping costs. Out of stock order items that are cancelled will not be included in the final charge to your card.

We make every effort to maintain current, accurate prices and inventory in our online catalog and we strive for similar accuracy and timeliness with the other information we offer here. We appreciate your understanding should any of the prices or other information provided be incorrect and regret any inconvenience such mistakes may create. DISCOUNTS

Bow Cycle and Sports periodically has sales in-store and online. There are dealer agreements for some brands that do not allow for discounts, please refer to the disclaimers specific to each sale.


Warranty

If you have an issue with your product please don’t hesitate to email our warranty department at abarton@bowcycle.com. If you believe it's a manufacturer’s defect and would like to inquire about a warranty, send us an email and we can assist in the process. A detailed and sharp photo(s) of the defective product is be required along with the original receipt. Warranty is only offered to the original owner(s) of the product.

If the product you would like to warranty is from a brand we sell but was purchased elsewhere we can still help as long as you have the original receipt. This process may take some time for company reps to review; please allow extra time to process.

We know your gear gets wet and dirty through regular outdoor use, but please clean it off before photographing it or bringing it in.
